The Role of the Host
EYT can't successfully run a program without the collaboration and support of our Hosts. While we deliver the education in the style of a University lecture hall, you are our TA's - the eyes and ears and small group support for the apprentices at your studio
02
You are their home
Students will be at your studio during seminars. We ask that you are present to help guide them and answer questions during breakout sessions. After seminars, your studio will become their home for the duration of their apprenticeship.

03
You are a resource
EYT provides all the guidance, objectives, education, support.....but when "in-the-moment" questions arise, they will turn to you. If they are anxious or overwhelmed, they might seek your words of encouragement. If they are avoiding the work, they might need you to notice and prompt them to push through their anxieties.
04
You are opportunity
Practice is the key to success so we look to our Hosts to provide those practice opportunities. At first they will just bring in their friends & family, but at some point they will need small co-teaching opportunities which will expand to teaching "Intro to Reformer" sessions during your off-peak times and perhaps, if their skills warrant it, you may ultimately put them on the schedule (this is not required)

05
You support us, we support you
We can't do this without each other so we ensure you have the support you need to mentor and grow your teaching staff. We stay in regular communication with our Hosts and offer workshops on how topics like: how to integrate new Teachers into your studio, how to price, how to mentor and more.
We want to develop your leadership skills as much as we want to develop their teaching skills. Our hope is you will be a forever partner in EYT's quest to provide the highest level of education to today's budding teachers.
